We’re still here. Just not there.
While the black Unfussy Jeep Wrangler-complete with its scribbled hood decal-remains a highly recognizable fixture in Fort Saskatchewan lexicon (as a large family, we do an AWFUL lot of driving), local followers and fans of Unfussy might have noticed (or rather, not noticed) the mysterious disappearance of our logo from the Alberta Industrial Heartland building’s towering pylon sign.
Since the onset of COVID, Fort Saskatchewan’s largest, most modern commercial office building has housed Unfussy on its second floor, right beside the Fort’s local radio station MIX 107.9. The key statement here is of course since the onset of COVID. Since everything locked down and shifted online. Since client conversations over coffee or homemade wine quickly transformed into video conferences over Zoom. The point is, the world shut its doors just as we opened ours, and, while pretty swank, our downtown offices simply and immediately became unnecessary. Obsolete and, well…fussy.
And so, on January 1, 2022, we moved, and we took our impressive pylon sign with us. It’s now mounted with pride in our new home office space; which may be a little less visible, but a lot more practical. It’s a lot more Unfussy, while maintaining a killer view…
